Reflections

My mother placed me in an educational institution when I was five, and I remained in one ever since! However, much learning is available away from organised set-ups. Sharing experiences is a wonderful human activity.

Absurdities.

1 – Driving round your small block of residences to buy your newspapers instead of walking there and back;
2 – saving on food and clothing to spend on entertainment;
3 – sweating it out on a sick bed instead of at the gym;
4 – being on time for most of your appointments except for the more important ones;
5 – resting after doing adsolutely nothing;
6 – eating and drinking when you are neither hungry nor thirsty;
7 – working over-time when you can easily finish the job during normal hours;
8 – visiting other countries when you hardly know anything about yours;
9 – attempting to teach others by talking instead of by example;
10 – driving your car in the shade instead of the proper way on very hot days;
11 – having always the last word to end up talking to yourself;
12 – talking only for the sake of making a noise;
13 – wasting time on trivialities when the list of essential jobs waits and gets longer;
14 – changing partners when the current one is the best;
15 – going on a wild goose chase;
16 – putting an air of importance when you are still down on the lowest rung;
17 – carrying water in a sieve;
18 – investing monies in bankrupt societies;
19 – asking a loan from a tramp;
20 - asking for directions from impossible sources.
