Likes and dislikes.

Some like them blondes, some brunettes. No real reason why. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Is it a matter of likes and dislikes ?

Likes and dislikes attitudes can be applied to most other areas of human activities, wherever the place, whatever the culture, and whoever is concerned.

Take as a few examples, likes and dislikes in personality projections, in food and drink brand choices, choosing what one presumes to be an attractive attire, an interesting book to read, or a favourite newsapaer, and the choice of a peer group, of a partner, of relaxation expectations, favourite nurse or physican, movies, rstaurant, theatre, and so on. The list is endless.

What is interesting and offers fields for research is the identification of the reasons that lead to likes and dislikes conclusions. Sometimes some reasons may be quite obvious and logical, at other times there must be a background for feelings and at other times for no reason at all.

How do you explain, for example why Nemo likes, and loves Incognita, when everyone else hates her, or vice-versa.

Sometimes dislikes take a toll on the weak individuals to such an extent that they become a phobia. It upsets the reasonable balance of one's psychological conscious. Or, for example, some dislike fish so much that reading the name in the menu presented to them at their favourite restaurant, is reason enough to make them faint.

Some dislikes offer hilarious situations. Mrs Hurry dislikes loose buttons. The moment she sees or inadvertently touches one she flurs up in a fury. Mr Grassman becomes green with anger if he is presented with peaches for dessert.
