Reflections

My mother placed me in an educational institution when I was five, and I remained in one ever since! However, much learning is available away from organised set-ups. Sharing experiences is a wonderful human activity.

Back2school

Millions of fortunate children and young people return to their classroom or lecture-room at this time of year. This is a perennial activity in most countries, in some of which, education, as well as other social services, are completely free of any expense to the tax-payer. Naturally, the tax-payer makes up the monies required through paying taxes, sometimes even through his nose.

In some countries the educational set-up has progressed so far as to award an honorarium to all students in the tertiary level to help the parents' financial burdens and at the same time students can cope with the other routine expenses, such as purchasing text-books, transport expenses, lodging, and so on.

These cohorts of young people are indeed very lucky. Schooling for them is always available, though there is always rom for improvements.

Systems of education operate in a continuous process of change, hopefully always for the better. Unfortunately this cannot be said to cover all the children all over the globe. Some countries still have a great deal to struggle for. Generally speaking, the lack of facilities is proportionately relevant to economics. Progress or regress follows the financial strength or weakness of the exchequer's coffers.
