Reflections

My mother placed me in an educational institution when I was five, and I remained in one ever since! However, much learning is available away from organised set-ups. Sharing experiences is a wonderful human activity.

Opinionated

Recipe:
Two jugs half-full with crystal clear water;
half teaspoon of jet black permanent ink;
one teaspoon olive oil;
Method:
mix and stir ink diluting with the water in the first jug;
mix and stir the water in the second jug with the prepared olive oil;
Results:
examine results obtained;
in the first case water and ink are thoroughly diluted, and only a conjurer's trick will perhaps separate them;
but the oil in the jug, no matter the length of stirring and staring, will ever dilute the water and the oil.
Application:
Same with people. Some are easily influenced by the opinions of others. The gullible are the easier prey. One can make them believe that "fishes fly and figs grow on thorns." With the rest, toeing the line where it is drawn, is much more difficult. Obtaining consensus or any sort of agreement is a very far cry. With them, there is only one good way. Theirs.
