Reflections

My mother placed me in an educational institution when I was five, and I remained in one ever since! However, much learning is available away from organised set-ups. Sharing experiences is a wonderful human activity.

Waiting for late-comers.

This blog is being written under duress. I have been waiting for my appointment for over forty minutes and it is very likely that the end is nowhere near.

The solution is, as always, to pack up and leave. A tiny sms would have been very appropriate to save faces.

There could be a thousand reasons for turning up late. Some of which may be genuine and some others not so much. Traffic jams, road hogs, a car's burst wheel, adverse weather conditions, may well contribute to latecoming. It goes without saying that there is probably no cure for habitual latecomers.

One good reason for carrying an electronic device on such occasions is that it lends itself admirably as a time filler. It keeps you busy and alert during wating periods.

But alas, how unfortunate, the batteries in my device ran out of power and my appointmentee has not yet turned up………….the weather is fine………… the traffic flowing normally………….. no catastrophies anywhere in sight……………

Without uttering the consoling four letter words…………despair sets in…………
What’s to be done ? Well, guess. Your guess is as good as mine.

Pack up and leave.

But I shall be dead on time for my funeral, because I simply hate late-coming and late-comers. Punctuality is the virtue of Kings, that’s why it is so rare with a limited number of monarchs around.
